Diah Kristina is a Professor in Applied Linguistics majoring in English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and has been working at the English Department of Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia, since 1986. She has published more than 50 papers on promotional and political discourses, tourism, and English teaching and education, and is the author of a number of books, including Bahasa Persuasif dalam Public Relations (2016), Image Building in English (2017), Bahasa Persuasif untuk Promosi Pariwisata secara Online (2017), and English for Mastering the Art of Online Promotion (2021).
