Phil Robinson-Self has worked in higher education across a number of universities and a diverse range of roles, in areas including teaching, curriculum leadership, academic development, and quality enhancement. He has a PhD in English literature from the University of Exeter, UK, and has been a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) since 2016. Along with colleagues he received an Advance HE Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence in 2018. His publications, research and teaching interests include English literature and culture of the late medieval and early modern periods, pedagogical theory and practice, and academic leadership.
