Cambridge Scholars Publishing are now inviting book proposals in all our academic and scholarly research fields. We would be pleased if you would consider submitting a proposal to publish a book or edited collection. We publish books in all major fields of academic research and practice, in Humanities and Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences and Health Sciences. We Put Our Authors at the Centre of Everything We Do
We are committed to academic book publishing. We put our authors at the centre of everything we do.
We offer a fast, fair and friendly proposal review. Our titles are all published in handsome hardback, as well as eBook formats. We distribute worldwide via our international network of booksellers including Amazon, Ebsco/GOBI, ProQuest and Ingram. A title published with Cambridge Scholars Publishing will never be out of stock or unavailable, thanks to our unique Print on Time global distribution system. We offer an escalating royalty payment – the more we sell, the higher the royalty rate, from the first copy sold. Authors retain copyright. We make no charge for publication. We call these our Author Promises.
Read our Authors Promises here.
Guidelines For Book Proposals
Proposals for an authored title or edited collection should be submitted via our online proposal form, or our downloadable form (also available in word format here). We are very happy to consider edited collections from Conferences, and adapted Doctoral Theses. Notes of Guidance can be found here for Conferences, and here for Doctoral Theses.
Books should normally be more than 35,000 words and fewer than 200,000 words. Any permissions required (such as translations, or the rights to include a previously published section) should be agreed before proposal submission.
If you are preparing your manuscript, please view our Forms & Guidelines page for quick reference.
All our authors are assigned a single point of contact throughout the pre-publication process. This means we are able to build strong relationships quickly and effectively, and are responsive and efficient in the way we work with you.
Guest Edited Collections
We are pleased to launch the Cambridge Scholars Publishing's Guest Edited Collections.
We invited proposals to guest-edit collections of chapters across all of our publishing fields.
We are currently offering the opportunity to contribute a chapter in more than 150 Scholarly Guest Edited collections.
