Dr Jawed Ahmad is Head of Department (HOD) in the Department of Education at T.P College of B.N. Mandal University, India. He received his BA, MA, BEd, and MEd degrees from Aligarh Muslim University, India, and his MPhil from Alagappa University, India, before going on to obtain his PhD at Mangalayatan University, India. He has passed the UGC/NET examination in Education, and is a specialist in educational philosophy, education and the national context, and the teaching methods of the social sciences. He has held many administrative posts at Kishanganj Centre of Aligarh Muslim University, including Assistant Proctor and Assistant Superintendent of Examination. He has published six research papers in national and international journals.
