He received his BSc (Hons), MSc, PhD (Sc) and DSc from the University of Calcutta, India and pursued postdoctoral research at various universities in the USA.

Dr Soumyabrata Banerjee is an Assistant Professor at the Amity Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences, Amity University, NOIDA, India. He received his BSc (Hons) and MSc from Vidyasagar University, India, his PhD (Sc) from the University of Calcutta, India and pursued postdoctoral research at Jadavpur University, India and Central Michigan University, USA.

Dr Apala Chakraborty is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, NSHM Knowledge Campus in Kolkata, India. She received her MPharm from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa, India, and her PhD from Jadavpur University, India.
