Dr Ananya Mitra, PhD, MSc, MATM, PGD-HRM, was the first lecturer at Bangalore University, India, selected to handle specialised subjects of geography of tourism and world geography of tourism. She has been an exclusive member of the Board of Studies for Jyoti Nivas College, India, and the Board of Examiners for Jyoti Nivas College, Bangalore University and Mysore University, India. She has co-authored three books and many journal articles. She has acted as a Member of the Advisory Committee to the 2nd International Conference on Contemporary Development in Business 2016, and has contributed her research to two international level and 13 national level seminars.
