Yoram Evron is Associate Professor of Political Science and Chinese Studies at the University of Haifa, Israel, Head of the Asian Studies Department of the University of Haifa, and Senior Fellow at the National Security Studies Center of the University of Haifa. He was a Visiting Fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and at the East-West Center in Washington D.C., USA. Dr Evron?s research focuses on China-Middle East relations, East-West Asia relations, military acquisition, and civil-military integration. He is the author of China?s Military Procurement in the Reform Era: The Setting of New Directions, co-author of The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Military-Civil Fusion: A New Paradigm for Military Innovation? and co-editor of East-West Asia Complex Relations in the Twenty-First Century: From Bilateral to Interregional Relationships, and Israel-Asia Relations in the 21st Century: The Search for Partners in a Changing World.
