Daniel Ender is Chief of the Department of Science and Communication at Alban Berg Foundation Vienna, having received his PhD from Vienna University in 2010. From 2013 to 2015, he was Senior Scientist at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria, and has been a regular lecturer at several universities. His publications include Der Wert des Schöpferischen (2007), Metamorphosen des Klanges. Studien zum kompositorischen Werk von Beat Furrer (2014), and Richard Strauss – Meister der Inszenierung (2014).Christoph Flamm is Professor of Musicology at the University of Music Lübeck, Germany, and received his PhD from Heidelberg University, Germany. From 1994 to 2001, he has worked full-time as a member of the editorial staff of the encyclopedia Die Musik in Geschichte und Gegenwart. In 2007 he received his Habilitation at the University of the Saarland in Saarbrücken, Germany. He has been Visiting Professor at Berlin University of the Arts and Professor of Applied Musicology at the University of Klagenfurt, Austria. He is co-editor of Russian Émigré Culture: Conservatism or Evolution? (2013) and Transcending the Borders of Countries, Languages, and Disciplines in Russian Émigré Culture (2018).
