Wolfgang Fiel is currently a Senior Lecturer at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Austria, and continues to work in various capacities and organisational settings as an architect, artist, curator, researcher, educator, and writer.
He is a founding Co-Director of the Vienna-based Institute for Cultural Policy, a founding member of the collaborative artistic practice tat ort, a consultant for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and an acting member of the Arts and Culture Advisory Board in the Federal Chancellery of Austria.
He has published and written extensively. His most recent titles include the Getting Things Done series published by Birkhäuser and Emancipating the Many: A Practice Led Investigation into Emergent Paradigms of Immediate Political Action published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing in 2015.
