Professor Wendell De Queiróz Lamas

Professor Wendell De Queiróz Lamas is currently attached to the Department of Basic and Environmental Sciences within the Lorena School of Engineering at the University of São Paulo, Brazil.

He received his BSc degree in Digital Techniques Technology from Estácio S.A. in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992, his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Taubaté, Brazil, in 2004, and his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from São Paulo State University, Brazil, in 2007. After graduating, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Energy at São Paulo State University, Guaratinguetá, between 2010 and 2012.

His research interests include systems modelling and optimization, alternative and renewable energy sources, energy and ecological efficiency, and applied and computational mathematics.
