Tomasz Kalaga is currently Assistant Professor in the Institute of English Cultures and Literatures at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. His academic interests revolve around literary theory and philosophy, with a particular regard for hermeneutics, semiotics, philosophy of science and language and Jungian psychology. His recent publications include a monograph Literary Hermeneutics. From Methodology to Ontology, a series of articles on meaning and interpretation in literary hermeneutics and essays on the late philosophy of Martin Heidegger.
