Professor Tao Lin

Tao Lin received his BE, ME, and PhD degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 1991, 1994, and 1997 respectively. He joined Central China Power Group Co. as an R&D Engineer in 1997. From 2000 to 2005, he held the position of Research Fellow at Nagasaki University, Japan, the University of Bath, UK, and the University of Florida, USA. Since 2005, he has been a Full Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at Wuhan University, China. His research fields are electrical engineering and automatic control engineering, including power system operation and control, power quality analysis and control, and power system protection and relaying.
