Stefan Mozar is an independent consultant and Adjunct Professor at Guangdong University of Technology, China. He obtained his engineering degrees in electrical engineering from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and Okayama University, Japan. His MBA was awarded by the University of Technology, Sydney. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and of Engineers Australia.
Stefan is an Australian Charted Professional Engineer and International Professional Engineer (APEC). He has spent most of his career in R&D laboratories and has previously held CTO positions, as well as working for a number of Asian, Australian, and British universities.
His expertise is in communication systems, power electronics, and systems engineering. His work has resulted in inventions, patents, publications, and awards, and he has been an innovations judge at the CES in Las Vegas since 2013. He is frequently invited as an international speaker. Stefan is an active IEEE Volunteer, has been President of the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society, and has held many leadership roles in the IEEE.
He has lived and worked on four continents, and currently lives in Sydney, Australia.
