Dr Shashanka Rajendrachari

Shashanka Rajendrachari  is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Bartin University, Bartin, Turkey. He obtained PhD in powder metallurgy from the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, India. He was also named as g rand powder metallurgy student of the year by the Powder Metallurgy Association of India (PMAI) in 2015.

Shashanka holds two further Master's degrees; an MSc in industrial chemistry and an MTech in nanoscience and technology, both from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, India. He is vastly experiencing in preparing nano-structured stainless steel powders by powder metallurgy methods and also in the preparationg of nanoparticles by biological, chemical and physical methods. He is also working on corrosion, electrochemical behavior, and grades of stainless steels prepared by mechanical alloying. He is the author of one book and many research papers on powder metallurgy.
