Professor Sergiu Mișcoiu

Sergiu Mișcoiu is Associate Professor of Political Science at the Faculty of European Studies, Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, where he serves as a Director of the Centre for International Cooperation. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Paris-East, France, a PhD in History from Babes-Bolyai University, and a habilitation in Political Science from the University of Paris-East. He is an associate member of the LIPHA Laboratory at the University Paris XII Créteil Val-de-Marne and an Associate Professor of the University of Szeged, Hungary. He has written four books, edited and co-edited 20 volumes and written 50 articles, mainly in English, French, and Romanian. His main research interests are the constructivist and alternative theories applied to nation building processes, populism and the political transitional dynamics of the Eastern European and African public spaces.
