Professor Salvador Miret Artés

Professor Salvador Miret Artés received his Master degree in Chemistry in 1981 from Autónoma University, Madrid, and his Doctorate in Physics in 1984 from Complutense University of Madrid. He obtained an Alexander von Hulmboldt Fellowship in Göttingen for the period 1996-1997 (18 months) before obtaining his Full Professorship in Physics in 2003 at the Fundamental Physics Institute.

He has published more than 200 papers in international journals, has supervised five PhD works, and is a referee for more than 15 international journals. He has had three books published in English for Springer about Bohmian Mechanics, as well as another three books published in Spanish about Economy and Probability and another book published in Spanish about Quantum Mechanics.

He is the Director of the Instituto de Física Fundamental (Fundamental Physics Institute) and the Madrid Director of the Centro de Física Miguel Antonio Catalán (Physics Center Miguel Antonio Catalán), both part of the Spanish National Research Council.
