Dr Ravi Dhabhai

Dr Ravi Dhabhai’s research interests are primarily in the area of microbial fermentation, with an emphasis on the use of lignocellulosic and algal biomass. His other research interests are in bioproducts processing, purification, and adsorptive separations. He obtained his MSc degree in Biotechnology from the University of Rajasthan, India and his PhD in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on mixed sugar fermentation, from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, India. He has more than 10 years of research and teaching experience, with over 20 papers published in reputed international journals and 10 papers presented at international conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for various scientific journals. Presently, he is serving as a Research Scientist at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, where apart from active research and lab management, he is also mentoring graduate students and handling multiple projects in consultation with industries.
