Ramesh Mohan is urrently working as an INSPIRE Faculty-DST in the unctional Materials Division at CSIR-CECRI, India. He received his bachelor’s degree in physics from Pondicherry University in 2005 and his master’s degrees in materials science, engineering, and polymer science and technology from Pondicherry University in 2007 and Anna University in 2009. Ramesh then received his PhD in materials science and technology from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 2013.
His PhD research focused on Organic Thin Film Transistor (OTFT) for bio-sensing applications in aqueous media. He subsequently completed his first postdoctoral in the Research Center for Applied Sciences, Academia Sinica, Taiwan and his second with the Fundacao de Amparo a Pesquisa do Estado de Sao Paulo (FAPESP) in the Department of Chemistry, University of Campinas, Brazil. During his postdoctoral period Ramesh has been working on hybrid photovoltaics, especially organic–inorganic perovskite solar cells. At present he is working on dye-sensitized solar cells, organic-inorganic hybrid materials, organic solar cells, organic electronics, and supercapacitors. His research has been published in reputed journals such as Polym. Chem, Organic Electronics, Advanced Functional Materials, the Journal of Materials Chemistry, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, and the Journal of Materials Chemistry-A and ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces.
