Professor Praveen Agarwal

Praveen Agarwal obtained his MSc, MPhil and PhD degrees from the Faculty of Science at Rajasthan University, India. As part of his PhD, he carried out some work at MNIT, Jaipur. He also had a Research Fellowship at MNIT, Jaipur and then worked in the Department of Mathematics at the Global Institute of Technology, India. Currently, he is a Research Professor at the International Center For Basic and Applied Sciences, India, and Head of the Department of Mathematics at Anand International College of Engineering, India.

His research interests include special functions, fractional calculus, integral transforms, basic hypergeometric series and mathematical physics. He has published more than 170 research papers in internationally esteemed journals. For the last two years, he has been a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews (American Mathematical Society) and Zentralblatt MATH (Berlin). He is a member of the editorial board of a number of international mathematical and interdisciplinary journals.
