S. Oswalt Manoj is currently working as an Assistant Professor Senior Grade in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He obtained his BE degree in computer science and engineering from the Cape Institute of Technology, Tirunelveli, in 2008, and his ME degree in computer science and engineering from the Anna University of Technology, Tirunelveli, in 2010. He is currently pursuing his PhD in the field of information and communication engineering from Anna University, Chennai, with the title 'Big Data for optimized analysis in Agriculture'.
Oswalt has eight years of experience in teaching and administration. His research focuses on data mining, big data analytics and cloud computing. In his teaching, he mentors students and tutees and frequently handles the administration and organisation of seminars, training sessions, and other events. Furthermore, he has several years experience of developing curricula that accomodate different learning styles and maximise student comprehension. He has completed and guided more than 21 research projects, and has published the results of his research in nuemrous national and international journals and conference proceedings. In addition, he has guest lectured to various organisations, and has active memberships with over 14 professional bodies. Lastly, Oswalt has received three bronze level partnership awards from Infosys Limited Chennai for the Infosys Campus Connect Programme and for being a core team member in the SRIT campus connect programme, and he has served as a reviewer and editorial board member for a number of journals and professional associations, including Cambridge Scholars.
