Dr Nimet Işık obtained her PhD degree in 2015 from the Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Turkey. She is currently Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Science Education at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. Her interests include atomic and molecular physics, with a special focus on electron scattering, electron coincidence studies, electron impact ionization of atoms, charged particle optics and spectrometer optimization. Her research and publications also focus on artificial intelligence applications in charged particle optics.
