Nayef Abdulwahab Mohammed Alduais is currently a PhD researcher in the Internet of Things (IoT) and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) in the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), having previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer within the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Hodeidah University, Yemen, from 2007 until 2013. He received his BEng in Computer Engineering from Hodeidah University in 2007, and later received his MsEng from UTHM in 2015.

He is an IEEE Student Member and is on the IEEEXtreme 11.0 Student Ambassadors Program 2017, IEEE Malaysia Section. He has worked as a professional trainer in numerous workshops on topics including Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). He is a professional programmer in numerous computer programing languages, such as MATLAB, VB.NET, VC#.Net, C++  and testbed prototype implementation, such as Arduino, IoT Libelium Waspmote (Gases, Event and Smart Cities Boards), FPGA, Programmable Logical control (PLC).

He has served as a peer-reviewer at the International Conference on Electrical and Electronic Engineering 2017 (IC3E 2017) and for IEEE Sensors Letters Journal. He has been awarded numerous medals and Scientific Excellence certificates, and has authored numerous papers for journals and conference proceedings. His main areas of research interest are in Wireless Sensor Networks and Internet of Things (IoT).
