Dr Mohd Amin


Sai Institute of Paramedical and Allied Sciences

Dr Mohd Amin Mir is now Assistant Professor at Sai Institute of Paramedical and Allied Sciences, India, after successfully completing his PhD in Chemistry at Uttarakhand Technical University, India, with several awards from Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology. He graduated in Science at Goverment Degree College Kupwara, India, and received his MSc Degree in Chemistry from the HNB Garhwal (Central) University, India.

He had published more than 40 research articles in various international and national journals. He is the receipient of the Young Scientist Award, Chemical Sciences, Aufau International Award 2016 and of the Best Teacher Award (2010) from Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology. He is an editorial board member of more than 25 international journals. He has been invited as a speaker to more than 30 international conferences, and acted an organizing committee member of more than 30 conferences.

Mohd has received several course certificates and appreciation awards from the DAV (PG) College Dehradun, India, HNB Garhwal (Central) University, and Uttarakhand Technical University. His areas of research interest include isolation, identification and characterization of various phytochemicals such as antidiabetics, antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, antimicrobials, and anti-arthritis drugs.
