Mechanical Engineering

Majid Akbarzadeh Khorshidi has experience in the buckling and nonlinear response of cracked micro/nano-structures and non-classical continuum theories, and has researched developing the continuum theories and nonlocal modeling to describe the real behaviors of materials in micro or nano-scale. He has also studied viscoelastic structures and energy harvesting, and has published papers in these areas. His research interests include: Computational Mechanics, Non-classical continuum theories, Micro/nano-structures, Nonlinear analysis, Analytical and numerical methods, Crack in solids, and Metamaterials.
