Dr Kishore Debnath has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology at Meghalaya, India, since 2015. Upon successful completion of his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology at Agartala in 2008, he pursued a Master of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Production Engineering, at the National Institute of Technology at Rourkela in 2011.
Thereafter, he enrolled for a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology at Roorkee, successfully completing his PhD in 2015 in the ever-challenging field of “Primary and Secondary Processing of Composite Materials.”
To date, he has published a total of 40 technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, as well as 12 further papers that have been included as chapters in books released by international publishers. He has also edited one book, titled Primary and Secondary Manufacturing of Polymer Matrix Composites (CRC Press). He is also an active reviewer for different peer-reviewed journals published by companies including Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Sage, and Wiley.
