Kenneth Lam, BSc (Hons), BVetMed, PhD, CertVA, MRCVS, graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, UK, and currently conducts research studies on veterinary epidemiology at the University of Liverpool, UK.
He first joined the Hong Kong Jockey Club in 1995 as a Veterinary Surgeon. Throughout these years, he has devoted great professionalism in maintaining and developing effective international liaison on the veterinary aspects of horse racing and the international movement of horses.
Kenneth has been involved in risk assessment and risk management projects with government veterinary authorities and the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) to facilitate international horse movements for horse racing and international equestrian events (at, for example, the Olympics and Asian Games).
He is also an Associate Editor for the Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia Journal.
