Dr Kehksha

Kehksha is currently pursuing a PhD from the Department of Psychiatry at Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, India, where she is University Grant Commission Fellow. She has qualified for the University Grant commission National Eligibility Test and University Grant commission 'Junior Research Fellowship Test'. Her PhD work focuses on patients with opioid use disorder. More specifically, she is working on the treatment of opioid use disorder with "Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention Therapy". She has been treating patients with various psychiatric problems on an OPD and IPD basis. In addition, Kehksha has attended various national and international seminars and conferences and attended many workshops on research methodology, therapeutic techniques & and statistical software organized by 'Indian Council of Social Science Research'.

Kehksha has eight publications in esteemed national and international journals, and will soon be publishing a chapter in an edited collection on 'Dementia and Spirituality'. She has been selected for the post of Assistant Professor by the 'Utter Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission' (UPHESC), and is currently teaching Psychology at both graduate and post-graduate levels at TikaRam Girls' Degree College.
