Karan Tongay is currently working as Software Engineer in Product Development and undertaking research activities at Amura Technologies, India. He was previously a student in the Computer Engineering Department at Sinhgad College of Engineering, India.
He was introduced to computer science while at secondary school, and built his own computing system at the age of 16, keeping abreast of the latest innovations in computing technologies through IEEE journals and technology blogs on novel technological trends.
In addition to being well versed in cloud computing and the Internet of Things, he is also skilled in computer programming and logical reasoning. He has valuable experience in web development and security, and has developed an ERP System for SVC Polytechnic, part of the Sinhgad Institutes, India, for the management of day-to-day office transactions, and which is routinely implemented and used by staff.
Karan has a wide ranging interest in the field of computer science, and is particularly interested in database management systems, cloud computing, algorithms and programming languages, which have given him the need to put his skills into practical use in computer science industries.
The limitless possibility of experimenting and the instant knowledge of the conclusion that stimulates one for further analysis of a rationale in question is what Karan finds most appealing about the field of Computer Engineering, and he believes that maintaining an inquisitive, positive and explorative attitude leads to a constant learning process.
