Professor Jesús González-Feliu

Jesús González-Feliu is Associate Professor at the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, France, and is involved with the mixed research unit 'Environment, City and Society'. He holds a MSc in Civil Engineering (INSA Lyon, France), a PhD in Computational and Systems Sciences (Politecnico di Torino, Italy) and a Habilitation to Direct Researches in Transport Economics (Université Paris-Est, France). He is also a member of the Institute of Urban Transport and Mobility (Lyon, France), and co-chairs the 'Horrea' Young Researcher Initiative in Urban Logistics.

He is a recognized expert in the field of urban goods transport, being one of the promoters of Sustainable Urban Logistics, and contributes to the fields of transport demand modelling, urban logistics scenario assessment, comparative analyses and group decision support. He has published more than 50 papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals, more than 20 book chapters and more than 100 communications in national and international conferences, including over 10 keynote speeches.

He has coordinated more than 10 special issues of national and international peer-reviewed journals and participates actively in other editorial activities, including as book editor (he has edited two books on urban logistics). He has reviewed more than 100 papers in national and international journals and written several books on the subject. He is a member of the editorial board of Logistique & Management and Supply Chain Forum: An International Journal, as well as of various international conferences including Prolog: Project and Logistics, and ILS: International Conference on Information Systems, Logistics and Supply Chain.
