Jeoung Yul Lee is a Distinguished Professor at Chongqing Technology and Business University, China, an Associate Professor at Hongik University's School of Business Management, South Korea, and a Visiting Associate Professor at Leeds University Business School, UK. At present, he also serves as an Editorial Review Board member of the Asia Pacific Journal of Management, which received a journal impact factor of 4.099 in 2012.
He holds a PhD in Business Administration from Yonsei University, one of the top three universities in South Korea, and he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA, between 2016 and 2017. At Wharton School's Department of Management, he worked with Professor Ian C. MacMillan, one of the world's top three scholars in the field of entrepreneurship and a founding editor of the Journal of Business Venturing.
During the 16 years of Jeoung's academic career, he has published 21 papers in prestigious academic journals, such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Long Range Planning, the Management International Review, the International Business Review, the Journal of International Management and the International Journal of Human Resource Management.
His main research topics include international business, strategic management, international human resource management, international marketing, business groups, organizational learning, knowledge-based view, innovation, and national and sub-national cultures.
