Professor J. Harold Ellens

Dr J. Harold Ellens holds a PhD in psychology from Wayne State University, USA, and a PhD in Second Temple Judiasm and Christian Origins from the University of Michigan, USA. He is a Full Professor at the Ecumenical Theological Seminary of Detroit and President Emeritus of the Michigan Center for Early Christian Studies at the University of Michigan. He has published over 400 professional publications and has taught across the USA at Princeton Theological Seminary, Calvin Seminary, Wayne State University, and Oakland University. He is an international lecturer. He is a retired US Army Chaplain (Colonel) and Editor Emeritus of the Journal of Psychology and Christianity, Executive Director of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies, and Theologian of the PCUSA, retired.
