Dr Isabel Maria Rosa

Computational Ecology

Dr Isabel MD Rosa is currently a Marie Curie Fellow at the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv). Isabel obtained her PhD in Computational Ecology in 2013 at Imperial College London, UK, and also holds a BSc in Forest Engineering and a MSc in Natural Resources Management from the Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal.

Her research focuses mainly on developing and applying novel techniques in modelling land use and land cover change. She has authored 15 peer-reviewed publications in top-class scientific journals such as Nature Ecology and Evolution, Current Biology and Global Change Biology. Isabel has also led international workshops on global change and participated in multiple international scientific conferences.
