Professor Indrajit Goswami

Dr Indrajit Goswami is a Professor of HR and Associate Dean of Research at N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research in Mumbai, India. He has over 23 years of teaching, research and consultancy experience in the fields of social work, labour welfare, research methodology, human resource management and corporate social responsibility. He holds a doctoral degree in social work with a specialization in professional ethics from J.R.N. Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, India; an MSW with a specialization in labour welfare, industrial relations and personnel management from Visva Bharati Central University, India; and a PGDHRM from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management. He has earned 38 certificates from different institutes, including North Western, Yale and Michigan Universities, USA and Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.

Indrajit has been an invited faculty and guest speaker at FDPs, MDPs and academic conferences. He has more than 70 publications to his credit, which includes research papers, articles, books, chapters in edited books and blogs. He is an expert in the areas of qualitative and mixed-method research, and is associated with various universities as doctoral supervisor. He is a member of several professional associations, such as the Indian Social Science Association; the Indian Sociological Society; the National Association of Professional Social Workers, India; the National Institute of Personnel Management, India and the Indian Society for U3A. He serves as an advisory board member for international journals and as a technical committee member for IEEE international conferences. Indrajit is a recipient of the Central Government Merit Scholarship, India, Best Faculty Award-2015, Excellent Researcher Award-2018 and Exemplary Educationist Award-2018.
