Girish Kumar Gupta graduated in pharmacy in 2006 from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, India. In 2009 he obtained his Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. He later obtained his PhD in pharmaceutical sciences in 2017. Girish is currently working as an Associate Professor at the MM College of Pharmacy, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala, India, and his areas of research encompass drug design, molecular modelling, green synthesis related to nitrogen containing heterocycles.
He has more than ten years of research experience in pharmaceutical fields including academic and industrial research and teaching. He has over 70 publications in the field of heterocyclic chemistry in peer reviewed high impact journals. He also has five patents, two copyrights, and one book, “Chemical Drug Design”, to his name. Girish remains a member of many pharmaceutical associations and societies. He is also an editorial board member, editor, guest editor and reviewer of many reputed international and national journals.
