Ghulam Nabi

Ghulam Nabi is a PhD scholar at the Institute of Hydrobiology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan, China. He received his MSc degree in Zoology with a gold medal from the University of Malakand, Pakistan, and his MPhil degree in Endocrinology from the Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan. Currently, he is working on the conservation of the Yangtze Finless porpoises, a critically endangered aquatic mammal. Ghulam's research focuses on the understanding of how anthropogenic activities negatively affect the population of Yangtze Finless porpoises, and uses biochemical, haematological, hormonal and molecular approaches to investigate the negative anthropogenic effects. He has also published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
