Mehmet Akif Ersoy University



Ferit Kılıçkaya is currently working as an Associate Professor of English in the Department of Foreign Language Education at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Turkey. He graduated from Boğaziçi University, Turkey, with a BA degree in English Language Teaching, followed by MA and PhD degrees in English Language Teaching from the Middle East Technical University, Turkey, where he worked as a research assistant for several years within the Academic Training Program (OYP). To complete the required service, he started working as a research assistant at Kocaeli University, Turkey, and one year later he joined Mehmet Akif Ersoy University as an Assistant Professor of English.

His main areas of interest include the use of technology in language learning and teaching, digital assessment, and teaching language skills. He has published several articles and reviews on the use of technology in teaching and English in several journals such as Computer-Assisted Language Learning, Educational Studies, and Teaching English with Technology.
