Dr Fathinul Fikri

Dr Fathinul Fikri is a nuclear radiologist who undertakes his work in molecular imaging research at the Centre for Diagnostic Nuclear Imaging at the University Putra Malaysia. He had training in oncology imaging at the Peter MacCallum Centre at the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2009 and as a fellow in molecular imaging at MonashHealth in 2012.

As a physician scientist with engagement in academic and professional radiology services for more than 10 years, he has engaged himself in academic teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate programme research works in the field of molecular imaging. He has more than 50 publications in this particular field in various indexed journals, presentations at international and local conferences as an invited speaker, and scientific proceedings.

Fathinul is on seven editorial boards, has written a single-authored book in PET-CT, and three book chapters. As a leading scientist in the field, he also hosts international mobility students via EU commission programmes, IAEA technical cooperation projects and space medicine research.
