Dr Farah Yousef graduated from the College of Pharmacy college at Tishreen University, Syria, and finished her postgraduate studies at other Syrian universities. She has since worked as a teacher in different faculties of pharmacy at national and private universities, and has also worked as a pharmacist in her own pharmacy for couple of years.
She has conducted various research in botany, pharmaceutics, clinical pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, drug design, and drug quality control. She is currently doing experiments in drug synthesis and discovery using molecular modeling. She has participated in local and international conferences, and has been invited as a main speaker at many international conferences.
Farah writes a column for an Arabic website about public health care, medications and nutrition, and has reviewed articles on clinical pharmacy and industrial pharmacy. She is also an a editor for two American scientific journals.
