Dr Elkacmi Reda

University Sultan Moulay Slimane



Elkacmi Reda is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Sciences and Technology,   University Sultan Moulay Slimane, Morocco. He received his PhD from the Chemical Engineering Department at University Hassan II, Morocco. He is an interdisciplinary scientist with work that balances between chemical engineering, separation processes, environment, waste management, and transport phenomena. His main research interests are in the field of treatment processes for water and wastewaters, resource management practices, conservation, and recycling as a part of green and sustainable chemistry.

Elkacmi has acquired more than 10 years of experience in the food, pharmaceutical and paint industries. In addition to his professional activities, he has participated as a member of the organising committees of national conferences and has appeared at numerous national and international scientific meetings. He is a also reviewer at several international journals and a member of the editorial board of Urban Studies and Public Administration (USPA).

Since 2016 he has published more than ten scientific papers, including 6 research papers in scientific journals indexed in Scopus, three articles in conference proceedings, and presented approximately 25 communications in symposia and national/international meetings. Elkacmi also has a chapter in the Handbook of Environmental Materials Management, published by Springer. Finally, he has received many state awards for his work, including being a finalist of the ‘My thesis in 180 seconds’ national competition at ENSIAS 2016, Rabat.
