Diêgo Teles is a PhD student at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), Brazil. His research seeks to understand the effect of parasitism on lizard communities. Currently, his main focus is on investigating the effect of abiotic factors (e.g. temperature, rainfall) and host biotic factors (e.g. diet, sex) on the composition of the helmintofauna associated therewith. Throughout his career he has published more than 30 articles and reviewed publications in scientific journals such as the International Journal of Public Health and Epidemiology Research.
