Dr Dee H. Andrews

Dee H. Andrews has PhD and Master’s degrees in Instructional Systems from Florida State University, USA. He was a Civil Servant for 34 years as an instructional designer, training researcher and manager for the US Navy, Air Force and Navy. He served for nine years as a Senior Scientist for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). Prior to his service as a Senior Scientist, he served as the Technical Director of the AFRL Training Research Division for 15 years. He ended his career as a member of the Senior Executive Service. Dee has over 150 books, journal articles, technical reports, and professional presentations to his credit.

Dee is a Certified Human Performance Technologist, the certification of which was granted jointly by the International Society for Performance Improvement and the American Society for Training and Development, and a Certified Professional Ergonomist, which was granted by the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics. He has been elected to Fellow status in the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, the American Psychological Association, and the Royal Aeronautical Society of the United Kingdom. Dee was awarded the British Silver Medal for aviation research by the Royal Aeronautical Society. He is also an advisor to the National Research Council.

He has taught over 250 undergraduate and graduate courses as an adjunct professor with 10 different institutions of higher education, teaching courses both in class and online.
