Celeste Ana da Glória Eduardo Sambeny has been teaching for 40 years, initially as a primary school teacher, and later as a secondary school teacher teaching English as a Foreign Language. She is currently a lecturer at the Higher Institute of Education in Luanda, Angola (ISCED Luanda), where she has been working for the last 19 years as a teacher trainer, teaching the modules of English Language Teaching Methodology, Trainer Training Methodology and Teaching Practice.
She is also the English Coordinator of the Masters Degree programme at ISCED Luanda, in which she teaches two modules: Trainer Training Methodology and English Language Learning and Teaching Paradigms. She has a Diploma in TESOL from Manchester University, UK, an MA in AELS (Applied English Language Studies) and a PhD in ALLE (Applied Language and Literacy Education), both from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. Her main research interests are in Teacher Training Development and Literacy Education.
