Professor Bosiljka Tadic

Theoretical Physics

Jožef Stefan Institute

Bosiljka Tadic is a Full Professor at the Jožef Stefan Institute, Slovenia, and an external faculty member of the Complexity Science Hub, Vienna, Austria. Her research activities include theoretical and numerical approaches in the fields of condensed matter physics, self-organized criticality and complex networks. Her research interests also extend to the application of physics into currently developing interdisciplinary areas such as big data and complexity science. By combining methods of physical science with agent-directed modeling and mathematical graph theory, Bosiljka investigates extensive empirical data underlying brain functional networks and the emergence of various collective phenomena in social dynamics on the web.
