Dr Asra Sabir Hussain completed her Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS) at Batterjee Medical College, Saudi Arabia, in 2015, and started her career in a private dental practice. She is currently on the postgraduate program Clinical Management of Pain (Online Distance Learning) at the University of Edinburgh, UK. Her fields of research interest include general dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, and orthodontics.
Besides her clinical skills, she has a keen interest in writing research papers relevant to different specialties in dentistry, and has published papers including 'Methodologies in Orthodontic Pain Management. A Review' in The Open Dentistry Journal and 'Esthetic Restorative Treatment Planning for Dental Professionals. An Overview' in the Ecronicon Dental Science Journal. She is also a reviewer for the Angle Orthodontist Journal.
Asra Sabir has presented posters and abstracts at numerous conferences and meetings, including the 10th and 11th Annual Saudi Orthodontic Society conferences, the 42nd Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (where her abstract was selected among the top 15 from across the globe and displayed at the meeting), the 26th American Dental Congress, and the 2018 EuroSciCon Conference on Dental & Dental Hygiene. She is an organizing committee member and plenary speaker for the 2018 World Congress on Dental & Oral Health and for the 2018 International Conference on Advanced Dentistry and Oral Health.
