Ashish Agarwal is currently working as a Professor in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Technocrats Institute of Technology (Excellence), India. He obtained his MTech and PhD degrees in 2007 and 2015 respectively from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India.
Ashish's research interests are in the areas of heat storage systems and non-conventional energy systems. More recently, he has been working on thermal conductivity enhancement of the latent heat storage system with the aim of increasing heat transfer rate. He has further expertise in characterisation techniques for latent heat storage materials, solar thermal systems, and heat storage systems. He has published more than 20 research articles in his fields of expertise in different national and international journals and conference proceedings, particularly on heat transfer enhancement and the development of simulation models for the melting and solidification of paraffin wax in heat storage systems.
Ashish is a recognised reviewer for different nternational journals in the fields of heat storage systems and solar thermal systems. He was honoured for his outstanding contribution to reviewing by the editor or Applied Thermal Engineering, and continues to work with technological societies to promote his research and development work.
