Dr Aristotle Koutsiaris

Dr Aristotle Koutsiaris received his MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Dundee, UK, and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the inter-departmental post graduate program at the University of Patras and the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, in 2000. He has previously worked as a Lecturer at the Medical School of Athens (1.5 year contract) and he is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Health Sciences at the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaly, Greece.

Aristotle has published in the areas of hemodynamics, microcirculation, biomedical imaging and bio-microscopy, both in vitro and in vivo (in animals and humans). In addition, he has taught at engineering and medical university schools in the areas of fluid mechanics, computers and physiology. Aristotle is a member of various scientific committees and on the editorial boards of two scientific journals.
