Anton S. Filipenko is a Doctor of Economics and Professor in the Department of World Economy and International Economic Relations at the Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. He is an Honoured Worker of Science and Techniсs of Ukraine, Honoured Professor of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Ukraine.

Anton is the author more than 300 scientific publications, including monographs and textbooks. These include International Trade and Investment (co-author, 1998), Economic Development: the European Context (2001); Economic Development of Modern Civilization (2002); Economic Development: a Civilization Approach (2002); International Economic Relations: History (2006); Global Forms of Economic Development: History and Present Time& (2007); International Economic Relations: Theory (2008); International Trade Relations of Ukraine: Genesis and Structure (2008); Economic Globalization: Sources and Results (2010); Theory of International Economic Policy (2013); International Economic Relations: Policy (2015); and A Social and Solidarity Economy: The Ukrainian Choice (2017).

He has scientific-pedagogical experience and has taken part in several international scientific conferences in universities and scientific institutions in Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Cuba, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Iran, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, and Vietnam.
