Dr Andrei Igoshev

Andrei Igoshev completed his PhD in 2017 and will shortly commence his Fellowship at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Israel. Andrei moved to the Netherlands in 2013 to begin his PhD in astrophysics at Radboud University, Nijmegen, under the supervision of Frank Verbunt. He previously studied astronomy at Saint Petersburg State University and obtained a specialist diploma with distinction in 2012. As part of this, he spent two months at Moscow State University working on the population synthesis of isolated radio pulsars.

He has presented his work at many international conferences in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Spain, and has published nine articles in international astronomical journals including Astronomy & Astrophysics, Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society and Astronomische Nachrichten, which received 43 citations excluding self-citations.
