Dr Aliya Kintonova is an expert in the area of technical science, specializing in the mathematical and software support of computers, systems and computer networks. In 2009, Aliya completed her postgraduate degree in the Department of Automated Information Systems at Karaganda State Technical University, Kazakhstan.
Her scientific interests include IT management, electronic business, and the optimization of business processes. Aliya has several publications on these subjects in leading Kazakhstani as well as foreign scientific journals. Aliya has also participated in projects including the Educational Platform "Skills To Educate People" research project at the ATAMEKEN Business Academy, Kazakhstan, as a leading researcher in 2016-17, and the "Methodology, algorithms and program generation of electronic textbooks" project as the leading researcher.
Aliya has been an Associate Professor within the Department of Computer Science and Information Security at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Kazakhstan, since 2010. She previously worked in the Financial Academy in the university's Department of Natural and Technical Sciences between 2009 and 2010, and in the Institute of Management in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science between 2007 and 2009.
Since 2015, through a Russia-Kazakhstan double-diploma program, Aliya has also been working in the Department of Industrial Economics and Management at the Federal State Autonomous Education Institution of Higher Professional Education (National Nuclear Research University), Moscow, Russia.
