Alexander Ayertey Odonkor is the founder of Ayerkam. He is a chartered economist, a chartered financial analyst and a fellow of the Global Academy of Finance and Management, USA. He is also a member of the American Economic Association. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics and finance and a Master’s degree in finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. He is also a member of the African Finance and Economic Association.
Alexander has pursued an extensive postgraduate education in economics, finance and other business-related fields at Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, New York Institute of Finance, Corporate Finance Institute, Babson College, Delft University of Technology, the University of Adelaide and Curtin University.
He has an undying interest in rigorous research. His works The Impact of Human Capital on Economic Growth in Ghana and An Assessment of Credit Risk Management Practices of Rural Banks in Ghana are available in bookstores worldwide. Collectively, Alexander has authored eight insightful books specializing in economics, finance, real estate development, risk management, the business of mining, business model, and entrepreneurship. His books are available through Amazon and other major bookstores.
Alexander has international experience in debt sustainability analysis, financial programming and policies with the International Monetary Fund. He believes in sharing knowledge with others so he mostly channels his ideas and research findings in his publications. With over 50 publications in diverse fields, his articles have been featured on Realty Times and other media outlets.
